Construction Project Manager – Residential Retrofit

About the role

We are a growing contractor delivering high‑quality residential energy retrofit projects across Ireland. As a Construction Project Manager you will lead retrofit projects from the initial homeowner consultation through to final handover, ensuring a seamless, high‑standard experience for every client.

Key responsibilities

• Lead residential retrofit projects from survey to successful completion.
• Conduct initial house surveys and prepare project variations when required.
• Develop project programmes and coordinate labour, subcontractors and materials.
• Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners, delivering clear communication and exceptional service.
• Coordinate with design teams, BER assessors, subcontractors and suppliers to keep projects on track.
• Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and compliance.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports and compliance records.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular progress updates to management.
• Promote a culture of quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years' experience managing residential construction, retrofit or energy‑upgrade projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, building science and sustainable building methods.
• Understanding of Irish Building Regulations and current construction technologies.
• Experience working with homeowners and multiple project stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Full clean driving licence.
