Construction Site Foreman

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Foreman to lead daily operations on our commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will supervise trades, manage site logistics and ensure work is delivered safely, on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of trades, labourers and subcontractors.
• Prioritise and adjust daily tasks and schedules as required.
• Interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications to guide site work.
• Monitor progress, report issues affecting programme delivery and maintain site records.
• Assist with site logistics, deliveries and materials management.
• Conduct daily briefings, inductions and toolbox talks.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure use of protective equipment.
• Identify and report snagging, defects or quality issues to the Site Manager.
• Maintain good housekeeping and overall site organisation.

Required profile

• Trade background (Carpentry or similar) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a foreman or supervisory role on construction sites.
• Experience on healthcare, commercial or similar construction projects is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and site operations.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain productivity under pressure.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
