Construction Site Manager

About the role

McKeon Group & Hereworks is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the on‑site delivery of medium to large‑scale projects in Ashbourne. The role combines strong technical knowledge with digital fluency to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations from start to completion.
• Maintain the highest quality standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and logistics.
• Implement and monitor construction programme milestones, updating progress in Procore.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings in collaboration with the Health & Safety team.
• Maintain daily records, reports, site diaries, and communications via Procore.
• Manage snagging, commissioning, handover, and the digital Safety File.
• Support BCAR documentation and inspections alongside the Quality Manager.
• Mentor junior personnel, apprentices, and subcontractor teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing medium to large construction projects.
• Strong technical background with a focus on digital construction workflows.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Procore or similar digital construction platforms.
• Knowledge of health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Experience with construction programme scheduling and monitoring.
