About the role
Direct Medics is seeking a Consultant in Geriatric Medicine for a permanent position at Mayo University Hospital, commencing June 2026. This senior medical role involves delivering specialist care to older patients within a leading Irish hospital.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive geriatric assessment and treatment to in‑patients and out‑patients.
- Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
- Participate in teaching, audit, and research activities as required by the hospital.
Required profile
- Valid IMC registration.
- Right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
- Minimum six months experience in a comparable geriatric medicine role in the UK or Ireland.
