Consultant Respiratory Integrated Care (Temporary)

About the role

The Health Service Executive (HSE) Mid-West is seeking a temporary Consultant in Respiratory Integrated Care to support the delivery of specialist services at University Hospital Limerick. This position focuses on both respiratory and general medicine, contributing to multidisciplinary teams and improving patient pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical assessment and management for patients with complex respiratory conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement integrated care pathways.
• Participate in teaching, mentorship, and clinical governance activities.
• Ensure compliance with national clinical standards and HSE policies.

Required profile

• Registration as a specialist on the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland.
• Qualified in Respiratory Medicine and General Medicine.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering integrated care services.
