About the role
You will join a busy retail shop in Roscommon, delivering a friendly and knowledgeable service to customers. The role combines front‑of‑house duties, cash handling and occasional shop management responsibilities, offering a clear path for development within the company.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily store operations.
- Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Accept and process bets via betting terminals and the EPOS system.
- Manage cash, perform cash‑handling procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain high standards of shop presentation and compliance with safety and social‑responsibility policies.
- Act as a brand ambassador, introducing customers to multi‑channel and digital offerings.
- Step in to lead the team in the absence of senior managers.
Required profile
- Customer‑service oriented with a friendly, helpful attitude.
- Trustworthy, reliable and able to work 7‑day weeks.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently.
- Interest in sports and betting industry.
Required skills
- Cash handling and basic EPOS system operation.
- Ability to follow safety, compliance and social‑responsibility procedures.
