Deal Desk & Pricing Manager – EMEA (Hybrid, Cork)

About the role

As the first Pricing and Deal Desk Manager in Cork, you will support complex deal structuring and pricing excellence across EMEA and APAC. You will act as the final finance sign‑off on deals, working closely with sales, finance and operations to shape and approve contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Review, shape and approve a variety of deals, from standard renewals to multi‑year, consumption‑based agreements and enterprise licence contracts.
• Identify hidden risks such as down‑sell capacity changes, eroding payment structures or undocumented channel discounts.
• Perform real‑time pricing calculations, model annual‑payment structures and assess margin through distributor and reseller layers.
• Participate in forecast and deal reviews with EMEA and APAC sales leadership.
• Analyse deal and renewal data to test discount guidelines, recommend pricing adjustments and improve approval processes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in a deal desk, pricing or commercial finance role within a software, SaaS or infrastructure company.
• Degree in finance, business, economics, engineering or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of structuring non‑standard deals and influencing senior sellers.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel modelling.
• Experience with Salesforce and preferably CPQ.
• Familiarity with consumption or usage‑based pricing, multi‑year agreements and multi‑tier channel deals.
• Use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for analysis and documentation.
