Deli Assistant – Food Service & Customer Care

About the role

Join our team at Parkmore Industrial Estate in Galway as a Deli Assistant, supporting catering services for a medical‑device factory. You will help prepare meals, serve customers, and ensure a pleasant dining experience for staff on site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food in line with HACCP and food‑hygiene procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy work environment, including deep‑clean duties.
• Rotate stock and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Provide excellent, friendly customer service to all diners.
• Work independently and take initiative when needed.
• Complete additional duties assigned by the line manager to keep the department running smoothly.

Required profile

• Valid work permit and eligibility to work in Ireland.
• High personal standards with strong attention to detail.
• Team‑player attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP systems.
• Food preparation skills.
