Deli Assistant

About the role

As a Deli Assistant at our Parkmore Industrial Estate location in Galway, you will support catering services for a medical‑device factory. You will help prepare meals and provide friendly, engaging customer service to improve the daily experience of staff using our restaurant facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Follow HACCP and food‑hygiene regulations in all food preparation and service.
• Prepare and serve meals according to established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy work environment, including deep‑clean duties.
• Rotate stock and ensure proper storage.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to enquiries.
• Work independently and take initiative when needed.
• Complete additional duties assigned by the line manager to ensure smooth department operation.

Required profile

• Valid work permit and eligibility to work in Galway, Ireland.
• High personal standards with strong attention to detail.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Keen interest in developing food‑preparation and culinary knowledge.
• Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of HACCP.
• Understanding of food‑hygiene practices.
