Director of Operations (Ireland)

About the role

The Operations Director for Ireland will lead service, maintenance and technical operations across multiple sites, reporting directly to the business owner. This senior position offers full autonomy to shape operational performance, drive growth and influence strategic decisions within a fast‑growing technical services organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead service, maintenance and technical operations across Ireland.
• Drive operational performance, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Develop KPI‑led management and reporting structures.
• Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Manage operational budgets, profitability and commercial performance.
• Lead and develop operational managers, support teams and field‑based engineers.
• Improve service delivery, customer retention and operational efficiency.
• Support business growth and contribute to strategic planning.

Required profile

• Proven senior operational leader in service‑led engineering or technical environments.
• Experience in technical services, hard facilities management, building services, M&E, HVAC or similar sectors.
• Track record managing multiple customer contracts, regional/national teams and multi‑site operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, P&L and KPI‑driven improvement initiatives.
