Director of Sales, Commercial – Europe

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Sales, Commercial for Europe to lead Klaviyo’s commercial sales organisation across Dublin and London. Reporting to the VP of EMEA Sales, you will oversee Sales Managers and Account Executives, driving growth in the Northern, Southern and Central European sub‑regions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop the team: hire, coach, and develop Sales Managers and Account Executives across Europe, creating clear development pathways and a culture of accountability.
• Own the regional strategy: design and execute the go‑to‑market plan for the Commercial segment, translate business objectives into operational priorities, and identify growth opportunities.
• Drive operational excellence: accurately forecast and manage performance, use data to surface trends, continuously improve pipeline management and sales processes.
• Partner across the business: collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, Enablement, and Customer Success to align strategies and share market insights.
• Contribute to EMEA succession planning and help shape the broader Klaviyo Dublin community.

Required profile

• Proven track record of developing high‑performing sales teams in a fast‑paced SaaS environment.
• Strong deal management experience and fluency with AI concepts.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate objectives into clear, data‑driven plans.
• Excellent coaching and talent development capabilities.
• Ability to partner with senior leadership on regional business decisions.
