Duty Manager – 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at our 4‑star Grand Hotel in Malahide. You will ensure the highest standards of guest service, presentation, and operational efficiency while supporting a dynamic hospitality team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Maintain consistent customer care standards and uphold the hotel’s presentation quality.
• Enforce SOPs and service standards across all departments.
• Provide effective supervision, conduct daily briefings, and communicate with Heads of Departments.
• Monitor staff levels, manage holiday schedules, and provide cover as needed.
• Implement training programmes and develop team members in line with SOPs.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of duty management experience in a busy 4‑star hotel.
• Flexibility to work early and late shifts.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and communicate with diverse teams.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel SOPs and operational procedures.
• Experience in staff scheduling and holiday planning.
• Ability to deliver training and develop team performance.
