Early Years Educator / Childcare Practitioner

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Early Years Educator / Childcare Practitioner to join our seasonal preschool and after‑school service in Eyrecourt. The role involves delivering high‑quality care and education to children in a warm, nurturing environment throughout the school year.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and educational activities for children in both preschool and after‑school sessions.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment that promotes children’s development.
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver the service’s curriculum.

Required profile

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a childcare setting.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Preferred: Manual Handling Certificate, Paediatric or Occupational First Aid certification, and additional early‑years training.
