Electrical Construction Manager – Data Centre (Germany/Switzerland/Sweden)

About the role

SilverBack is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead the electrical works on a large‑scale data centre project in Germany, Switzerland or Sweden. You will be responsible for delivering the electrical scope safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, from installation through commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage site safety, quality assurance and project documentation from set‑up to close‑out.
• Oversee schedule, costs, labour, materials, plant, variations and valuations.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day site operations, lead project teams and discipline leads.
• Supervise subcontractors, monitor progress against the programme and chair weekly meetings.
• Drive delivery with a strong focus on safety, quality and milestone achievement.
• Track snagging, labour hours, weekly progress and commercial performance.
• Participate in project meetings, planning reviews, engineering coordination and handovers.
• Support close‑out activities including final accounts, O&M manuals, QA files and safety files.
• Ensure change‑management procedures are applied correctly across cost and schedule.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the full design and construction process.
• Minimum 4 years experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on large‑scale projects.
• Trade background or relevant third‑level qualification.
• Proven leadership and people‑management abilities.
• EU citizenship or Swiss residency/work permit.
• Desirable: previous data‑centre experience and excellent communication skills.
