Facilities Manager

About the role

Trigon Hotels is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance team at our Cork property. You will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel facilities operate smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance department, coordinating daily operations and long‑term projects.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all hotel assets.
• Control and monitor the maintenance budget, ensuring cost‑effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and other regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, train and develop maintenance staff.
• Liaise with external contractors, suppliers and service providers.
• Respond promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests.
• Support hotel development, refurbishment and capital projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, adapt to changing priorities and collaborate with guests and staff.
