Financial Controller – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and commercially‑focused Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing Irish manufacturing business. The role combines day‑to‑day finance operations with the implementation of best‑practice systems, providing valuable insights that influence the company’s direction.

Key responsibilities

• Overall management of the Finance function, ensuring high integrity of financial statements.
• Strong cash‑flow management and forecasting of working‑capital requirements.
• Design and implement automation solutions across the Finance department.
• Lead finance‑related projects and support broader business initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, direction, and coaching to the Finance team.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant with 5‑10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Excellent analytical, presentation and communication abilities.
• Proven influence at all organisational levels and strong commercial acumen.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Organised, efficient and positive attitude.
