About the role

Join the breakfast and lunch team at a One‑Star Michelin restaurant located in the scenic Ballyfin estate, County Laois. This full‑time, permanent position offers a dynamic, guest‑focused environment where you will contribute to an exceptional dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, store, and upkeep tableware and glassware.
• Set up tables for breakfast and lunch service periods.
• Welcome guests courteously and serve food and beverages, offering recommendations when appropriate.
• Share menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests.
• Clean tables, complete closing duties, and restock tableware and supplies.

Required profile

• Passion for food, beverage, and high‑level customer service.
• Excellent conversational and interpersonal skills with fluent English.
• Positive, outgoing personality and immaculate grooming.
• Own transport is an advantage; flexible working hours.
• Previous experience in a luxury or Michelin‑starred restaurant is beneficial, with two years serving experience preferred.
