Food & Beverage Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Food & Beverage Assistant to join the award‑winning Food & Beverage team at Carton House, a five‑star Fairmont resort in Ireland. You will help create memorable guest experiences by delivering high‑quality service in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and attend to their needs in a professional manner.
• Promote Carton House’s menu, specials, beverages and wine list, and upsell whenever possible.
• Serve food and beverage items efficiently and according to the hotel’s presentation standards.
• Handle cash transactions in line with company policy.
• Maintain knowledge of sales promotions and product offerings.

Required profile

• Understanding of hotel food and beverage operations.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within a 4‑ or 5‑star property.
• Organised and structured approach to work planning.
