Front of House Waiting Staff

About the role

Gourmet Food Parlour is seeking enthusiastic and reliable front‑of‑house staff to join its Swords restaurant. The role is suitable for both full‑time and part‑time candidates who enjoy delivering excellent customer service in a busy dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders and provide menu recommendations.
• Prepare and serve coffee, hot beverages and a range of cocktails following quality standards.
• Maintain and clean coffee machines, grinders and bar equipment.
• Assemble dessert plates and ensure attractive displays.
• Handle cash and credit‑card payments accurately.
• Keep service stations organised, stocked and hygienic.
• Respond promptly and politely to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints.
• Observe health, safety and allergen handling procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience as floor or waiting staff.
• Positive attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts and maintain a high level of service.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues.
