Full-Time Duty Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Metropole Hotel is seeking a full‑time Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager/General Manager, you will be the visible presence on‑site, coordinating all departments during your shift.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain health, safety and security standards across the property.
• Monitor staffing levels with heads of departments and address any discrepancies.
• Support the operation of F&B outlets, accommodation and front office as needed.
• Patrol the building, keep fire exits clear, and lead the team during fire alarms.
• Ensure cleanliness, proper signage, and correct storage of goods.
• Gather guest feedback, resolve complaints and uphold service quality.
• Participate in developing and updating management strategies and brand initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel operations or a similar hospitality role.
• Strong commitment to guest comfort and service excellence.
• Ability to work flexible hours and maintain a constant lobby presence during peak periods.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
