Full‑Time Deli Assistant – Portlaoise

About the role

Corrib Oil is looking for a motivated Deli Assistant to join its service station in Portlaoise. You will work full‑time delivering high‑quality food service while supporting a friendly, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high‑quality food efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Manage daily kitchen operations, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and chilled products, under the Deli Manager’s direction.
• Maintain stock levels and portion control.
• Keep the work area clean and compliant with HACCP legislation.
• Prioritise customer care and actively promote the Corrib Oil Customer Loyalty Programme.
• Carry out deli checks as trained and uphold standards.
• Be available for flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, Monday through Sunday.

Required profile

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong focus on customer service and care.
• Ability to follow hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
