Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, control and governance across a fast‑growing international group. Reporting directly to senior executives, you will combine hands‑on execution with strategic insight to support the company’s expansion plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the group financial reporting process, including monthly, quarterly and year‑end close.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance and compliance across the group.
• Own the relationship with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide timely financial insight for decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting systems and processes.
• Oversee cash‑flow management, working capital and treasury activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives such as growth, M&A and process transformation.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong technical grounding.
• Proven experience in a group or multi‑entity environment, preferably with international exposure.
• Strong financial reporting and controls background, able to work at pace.
• Comfortable operating in a flat structure with direct executive exposure.
• Hands‑on operator who takes ownership and sees initiatives through.
• Commercially aware with ability to translate financial data into business insight.
• Low‑ego collaborator focused on outcomes.
