Group Purchasing Manager – Hospitality

About the role

The Group Purchasing Manager will lead procurement across a multi‑property hospitality portfolio in Ireland. You will develop and maintain structures that optimise spend, ensure supply continuity and deliver cost savings through strategic negotiation and market analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement group‑wide purchasing procedures for all Irish locations.
• Lead contract negotiations with vendors and service providers to secure favourable terms.
• Monitor group spending, conduct margin and cost analysis, and consolidate spend to improve gross profit.
• Maintain inventory control using Procurewizard and ERP systems, managing stock levels, purchase orders and forecasting.
• Produce weekly and monthly dashboards on purchasing trends, consumption versus forecast, and price variations.
• Collaborate with Heads of Departments to align supply requirements and enhance forecast accuracy.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification in Business, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a multi‑property purchasing role, preferably within Irish hospitality or retail.
• Strong analytical mindset with expertise in cost analysis, margin tracking and strategic problem‑solving.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑influence skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (stock control/PO modules).
• Experience using Procurewizard or similar procurement software.
• Strong IT skills for managing procurement platforms.
