Head of Facilities & Maintenance

About the role

Staycity Group is seeking a transformational leader to head Facilities & Maintenance for its Irish portfolio. This senior position will drive safety, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple aparthotel sites, ensuring that facilities and engineering services are efficient, scalable, and aligned with commercial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of safe, compliant, and cost‑effective facilities and engineering services across a multi‑site portfolio.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies that reduce reactive work and improve asset performance.
• Optimize contractor performance and manage third‑party relationships to achieve measurable commercial impact.
• Collaborate with operational teams and senior stakeholders to modernise processes and embed a culture of accountability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that raise standards, enhance efficiency, and support the company’s growth.

• Strong leadership and people‑management experience in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Commercially minded with a proven track record of delivering measurable improvements.
• Curiosity and a proactive, change‑oriented mindset to challenge traditional ways of working.
