Head of Health & Safety – Manufacturing

About the role

This senior position leads health, safety, quality and environmental (SHEQ) compliance across multiple manufacturing sites in Ireland and the UK. You will split your time between the corporate office and shop‑floor environments, driving continuous improvement and ensuring ISO standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and audit compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 across all sites.
• Lead SHEQ initiatives, monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Coach and train internal teams, including one direct‑report H&S Officer, to uphold high safety standards.
• Travel to satellite sites in the UK to provide on‑site support and guidance.
• Report to senior management on safety performance, incidents and improvement plans.

Required profile

• Proven background in health & safety within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience managing SHEQ programmes and leading teams.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards and ability to drive compliance.
