Hospitality Manager

About the role

The Hardiman, an iconic hotel on Eyre Square, is seeking a Hospitality Manager to lead its Front Office team. You will ensure seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure while upholding the hotel’s long‑standing reputation for warm Irish hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily Front Office operations and maintain service standards.
• Provide upper management with regular performance and operational reports.
• Design and deliver training programmes for staff on a daily basis.
• Act as a visible leader and role model, inspiring and coaching the team.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure effective service recovery to maintain guest satisfaction at all times.
• Build strong relationships across all departments to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Previous Front Office, Guest Services, or supervisory/management experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Natural leader with a passion for hospitality and exceptional service.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident decision‑maker with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Calm and composed, able to perform under pressure.
• Genuine commitment to delivering warm, authentic Irish hospitality.

Required skills

• Experience with Opera or a similar Property Management System.
