Hotel Housekeeper – Full-time

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at Keavan's Port Hotel, where you will ensure all hotel areas are spotless and welcoming for guests. No prior experience is required – we provide full training and support to help you succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces according to standard operating procedures.
• Greet guests politely, thank them and say goodbye, maintaining a friendly atmosphere.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following correct procedures.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, notifying the manager when stock is low.
• Store laundry correctly, complete related documentation and adhere to stock‑control procedures.
• Report any security issues, safety hazards, accidents or maintenance problems to the manager on duty.
• Participate in induction, role‑specific training and ongoing refresher sessions.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and friendly with a good attitude.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Calm under pressure and able to work independently.
• At least 18 years old (lone working).

Required skills

• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and health‑safety guidelines.
• Basic stock‑control and documentation skills.
• Competent use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
