Hotel Maintenance Technician

About the role

Cashel Palace Hotel is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to preserve the standards of its 5‑star heritage property. You will support all hotel outlets by delivering prompt repairs and preventative upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs and routine maintenance across all departments, covering plumbing, carpentry, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Log and resolve maintenance requests using the hotel’s Maintenance App.
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks for the entire property.
• Work a 5‑day rota (8:00‑16:30 or 10:30‑19:00) with occasional weekend shifts on a rotating basis.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a tidy, safe work environment.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Relevant trade qualifications and solid knowledge of health & safety regulations.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team‑player with a positive, professional attitude.
