Housekeeping Room Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Room Attendant will ensure guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and stocked to the highest standards of the resort. You will act as a brand ambassador, delivering a positive experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Clean rooms according to Sandman Hotels standards, including bathrooms, fixtures, and amenities.
• Restock towels, toiletries, coffee supplies, and other guest items.
• Inspect rooms for lost property, maintenance issues, and safety hazards, reporting them promptly.
• Perform laundry duties, including collection, sorting, folding, and stocking of linens.
• Handle small mending repairs and assist with houseperson tasks when required.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and lost‑and‑found items.

Required profile

• No prior education or experience required; training will be provided.
• Professional appearance, courteous demeanor, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
• Sensitivity and diplomacy when dealing with guests and colleagues.

Required skills

• WHMIS knowledge (preferred).
