Junior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The client is a well‑established, family‑owned construction firm operating across Northern Ireland and the UK. They are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Team and support cost management on a variety of projects, from maintenance frameworks to new‑build and refurbishment works.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Commercial Manager with cost management across multiple projects.
• Support pricing activities for new builds, refurbishments and maintenance contracts.
• Track project budgets and ensure accurate documentation.
• Handle several projects simultaneously at different stages.
• Maintain high standards of detail and efficiency in all deliverables.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with a main contractor, preferably on refurbishment projects.
• Experience assisting in the pricing of construction projects.
• Familiarity with NEC3 and JCT contract forms (desirable).
• Strong computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
