Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, particularly the B.Sc. in Financial Mathematics and Economics.
• Supervise student projects and theses at both levels.
• Develop and maintain an active research programme in financial mathematics.
• Apply for external research funding and contribute to the School’s research strategy.
• Participate in departmental administration and curriculum development.

Required profile

• A PhD in Financial Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise at university level.
• Evidence of high‑quality research publications and a clear plan for future research.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and contribution to a diverse academic community.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills in financial mathematics.
• Experience with mathematical modelling and statistical analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to students.
