Mechanical Construction Manager – Limerick & Cork

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to lead on‑site engineering teams for our client’s projects in Limerick and Cork. The role involves delivering mechanical construction works safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers during the execution phase of mechanical construction projects.
• Develop and maintain construction execution plans, detailed schedules and subcontract work scopes.
• Oversee equipment installation, piping fabrication, piping installation and on‑site pressure testing.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and keep the project on track.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience as a Construction Manager or Project Engineer.
• Proven background in mechanical construction within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Semiconductor or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Degree in Construction, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Based in Ireland with a valid work authorization.
