Mechanical & Electrical Engineer

About the role

Working as part of a high‑performing project team, you will support both pre‑construction and site delivery activities, coordinating the installation of mechanical and electrical systems across a range of complex projects. You will help maintain quality, programme and technical standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical engineering activities on‑site in line with programme requirements.
• Interpret and manage technical drawings, specifications and revisions.
• Support setting out, surveying and engineering control processes.
• Monitor installation quality against inspection and test plans.
• Work closely with subcontractors to ensure effective coordination and delivery.
• Attend and contribute to project and coordination meetings.
• Assist in preparing method statements, work packages and task briefings.
• Support pre‑construction activities including site setup and planning.
• Maintain accurate records, including as‑built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within construction projects.
• Knowledge of Irish/EU building regulations and standards.
• Experience on complex construction projects such as data centres, pharmaceuticals or industrial facilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and delivery.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced project environments.
