Mechanical QA/QC & Turnover Engineer – 200MW Energy Centre

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical QA/QC & Turnover Engineer to join a flagship 200 MW energy centre project in West Dublin. The role is site‑based and offers hands‑on involvement with large‑scale mechanical fluid systems, process piping, and thermal dynamics, providing exposure to cutting‑edge energy infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage mechanical QA processes in line with project standards.
• Review and approve method statements, ITPs, and QA documentation.
• Conduct inspections and audits of mechanical installations, managing snagging and close‑out activities.
• Support commissioning plans, oversee HVAC, piping and plant system commissioning, and coordinate functional testing and system handover.
• Review designs for buildability, resolve design clashes early, and ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to meet timelines and quality targets, and provide technical input at site meetings.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical QA/QC, commissioning or integration on energy, industrial or data‑centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping, pumps, HVAC and plant systems.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, site‑focused environment.
