Mechanical Site Manager

About the role

Mastertech Group is seeking a Mechanical Site Manager to lead plumbing teams on construction sites across Ireland. The role offers a progressive career path within a supportive, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise plumbers, apprentices and sub‑contractors throughout construction projects.
• Ensure all plumbing work complies with current regulations and company quality and safety standards.
• Conduct inspections, quality assurance checks and retain as‑built documentation for O&M.
• Monitor progress, report damages or constraints, and manage material stock, call‑offs and deliveries.
• Oversee safety paperwork, attend coordination meetings and support specialist sub‑contractors during commissioning.
• Utilise, or be trained on, project management software to track site activities.

Required profile

• Qualified trade plumbing craft certificate with at least 5 years’ experience as a plumber.
• Proven ability to work independently, diagnose issues and solve problems in industrial/commercial settings.
• Strong understanding of health & safety statutory requirements and Safe Pass certification.
• Good communication skills and willingness to up‑skill where needed.
