Mechanical Supervisor – Hyperscale Data Centre (Finland)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead mechanical works on a hyperscale data centre project in Finland. You will ensure safe, efficient delivery of mechanical installations while coordinating with multiple trades and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead weekly toolbox talks to promote safety and site communication.
• Supervise daily mechanical activities, ensuring compliance with programme and quality standards.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and two‑week look‑ahead schedules.
• Coordinate mechanical works with other trades and manage labour resources.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and communicate variations or delays to the Project Manager.
• Oversee document control, including drawings, RFIs, QA records, and commissioning documentation.
• Support commissioning, subcontractor management, and project handover processes.

Required profile

• Mechanical trade qualification or relevant Mechanical Engineering/Construction qualification.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory or foreman role on large‑scale construction projects.
• Experience on data‑centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or other high‑tech projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate site activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with cloud‑based project management systems.
