Night Porter

About the role

The Night Porter will be the primary point of contact for guests during the overnight hours at Ballynahinch Castle Hotel & Estate. You will ensure a safe, welcoming environment and respond promptly to guest requests while maintaining the front‑of‑house areas to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous communication with the front‑desk team throughout the night.
• Oversee the overall security of the hotel during night shifts.
• Provide courteous and efficient service to guests, handling special requests and inquiries.
• Keep front‑of‑house areas clean, orderly, and presentable.
• Support team morale by fostering a respectful and collaborative work atmosphere.
• Identify opportunities to enhance guest experience and act on them promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a night‑shift or front‑of‑house hospitality role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to guest safety and satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work overnight hours.
