Night Porter

About the role

We are looking for a Night Porter to join The Salthill Hotel, part of the Byrne Hotel Group, and support the overnight operations of our property. The role combines front‑of‑house duties such as reception and bar service with back‑of‑house tasks including housekeeping and maintaining the public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and handle check‑in/check‑out procedures during the night shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the lobby, public areas and exterior spaces, including the car park.
• Provide basic bar service for hotel residents.
• Follow company policies on customer care, fire safety, cash handling and health & safety.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and enquiries.

Required profile

• Well‑presented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Experience with Front Office systems.
