About the role
We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to take full ownership of site performance at our Gweedore, Donegal location. You will lead all operational functions, drive a high‑performance culture and ensure safety, quality, production and financial targets are met.
Key responsibilities
- Lead overall site operations including Safety, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Logistics and Financial performance.
- Deliver strong KPI performance across safety, quality, service, cost and people.
- Manage budgets, control costs and achieve financial targets.
- Drive a Lean manufacturing culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Align S&OP processes covering demand planning, capacity planning, inventory optimisation and new product introduction.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, ROI and overall plant performance.
- Build and lead a high‑performance, engaged team focused on accountability and collaboration.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with HR, Sales, Product Development and other sites.
- Act as key contact for internal and external stakeholders to align operational priorities.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Plant Manager or senior manufacturing leader in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Strong track record in operational performance, cost control and continuous improvement.
- Experience leading S&OP processes and driving cross‑functional alignment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop high‑performing teams.
- Solid financial acumen with budget management and profitability focus.
- Understanding of plant safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Degree in Business, Engineering or Operations Management (MBA desirable).
