Plant Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to take full ownership of site performance at our Gweedore, Donegal location. You will lead all operational functions, drive a high‑performance culture and ensure safety, quality, production and financial targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall site operations including Safety, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Logistics and Financial performance.
• Deliver strong KPI performance across safety, quality, service, cost and people.
• Manage budgets, control costs and achieve financial targets.
• Drive a Lean manufacturing culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Align S&OP processes covering demand planning, capacity planning, inventory optimisation and new product introduction.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, ROI and overall plant performance.
• Build and lead a high‑performance, engaged team focused on accountability and collaboration.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with HR, Sales, Product Development and other sites.
• Act as key contact for internal and external stakeholders to align operational priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Plant Manager or senior manufacturing leader in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Strong track record in operational performance, cost control and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading S&OP processes and driving cross‑functional alignment.
• Demonstrated ability to build and develop high‑performing teams.
• Solid financial acumen with budget management and profitability focus.
• Understanding of plant safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Degree in Business, Engineering or Operations Management (MBA desirable).
