Process Operator – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

LEO Pharma Cork is seeking a Process Operator on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to support the production of heparin intermediates and APIs. You will work within a small, collaborative team, following strict cGMP standards and ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain production of heparin intermediates and APIs according to SOPs.
• Operate and monitor production equipment, valves, pumps, and utilities.
• Handle chemicals safely, including heparin, ethanol, Celkate and glacial acetic acid.
• Complete stock transactions using the Stock Control System.
• Prepare and maintain batch manufacturing records, log sheets and in‑process control documents.
• Perform sampling, cleaning, disinfection and upkeep of production areas.
• Support raw material receipt, labeling, and ethanol tank farm operations.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and waste elimination initiatives.

• Flexibility to work shifts on a 24/5 schedule.
