Procurement Manager – Fleet, Tools & Plant

About the role

Mercury is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join its Fleet, Tools & Plant (FTP) division. Based in Dublin, the role will support projects across the EU, driving strategic procurement and supplier management for fleet, tools and plant assets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver best‑in‑class performance through efficient buying processes, controls and systems.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for purchase, hire, lease, maintenance and disposal of fleet, tools and plant.
• Lead strategic sourcing, tendering and commercial negotiations, including framework agreements and strategic alliances.
• Ensure quality, compliance and timely delivery of assets to meet project and operational requirements.
• Conduct bid evaluations, commercial analysis and provide approval recommendations.
• Create and maintain procurement plans aligned with project teams and operational demand.
• Monitor and report on spend, utilisation, savings, supplier performance and compliance.
• Drive asset reallocation and recovery to optimise total cost of ownership.

Required profile

• 10+ years of procurement experience, preferably within fleet, tools & plant or a related operational environment.
• Proven ability to align procurement activities with group policies and optimise supplier relationships.
• Experience delivering scalable procurement services across multiple projects and regions.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites across the EU.
• Based in Ireland.
