Project Director – EPCMV Biotech/Pharma

About the role

We are seeking a Project Director to lead the safe and successful delivery of large‑scale EPCMV projects for biotech and pharmaceutical facilities across Ireland and mainland Europe. You will own commercial performance, schedule adherence, quality assurance, and client relationships for high‑impact life‑sciences programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Direct complex Life Sciences EPCMV projects from initiation through turnover.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with HSE procedures.
• Lead contract administration, invoicing, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Own project schedule and delivery, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget outcomes.
• Build trusted client relationships through clear communication and proactive issue resolution.
• Oversee quality documentation, compliance and validation requirements.
• Manage diverse subcontractor teams across multiple disciplines.
• Apply robust project controls to monitor progress, risk and performance.
• Contribute to proposals, tender reviews and strategic pursuit activities.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering EPCMV biotech/pharma projects.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale capital projects.
• Strong commercial, contractual and technical acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
