Project Manager – Civil & Structural Infrastructure

About the role

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of civil and structural infrastructure projects across Ireland. You will work with key public sector clients, guiding projects from feasibility through design, procurement and construction while ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi‑disciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle, aligning scope, programme and budget with client objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, building transparent relationships and providing clear leadership.
• Oversee design coordination, technical reviews and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
• Manage risk, change and contractor performance, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Prepare and present progress reports, financial updates and risk registers to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing civil or structural infrastructure projects in a consultancy or engineering environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance scope, cost, programme and risk.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and foster a collaborative, inclusive working environment.
