Project Manager – Healthcare Projects

About the role

Quinn Downes Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a healthcare mechanical services installation in Cavan Town. You will be responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the project in line with contract requirements, schedule, quality standards and construction regulations.
• Maintain the site office and stores to a high standard throughout the project.
• Coordinate mechanical services and builder work drawings and issue bi‑weekly P&T HILTI reports.
• Manage material orders, track plant deliveries and ensure they arrive on programme.
• Record deliveries, liaise with suppliers and process delivery dockets for procurement.
• Support payroll with timesheet queries and manage sub‑contractors and on‑site staff regarding safety, quality and installation coordination.
• Assist Project Engineers with quality‑assured documentation at defined milestones.
• Attend site and white‑board meetings with the main contractor to review daily progress.
• Oversee commissioning, testing and project close‑down activities.

Required profile

• Previous project management experience on HVAC installations, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Strong communicator and leader capable of motivating teams to meet strict deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and performance optimisation.

Required skills

• Proficient use of all MS Office programmes.
• Hands‑on experience with HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with HILTI reporting tools.
