Project Manager – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

GP Joule EPC Ireland Ltd is seeking an energetic Project Manager to lead utility‑scale solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. Based in Leixlip, you will work in a hybrid setting, overseeing projects from tender through client handover while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project life‑cycle: contract award, planning, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Act as the primary liaison for customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal procurement/engineering teams.
• Administer contracts, including changes, claims and compliance with terms.
• Coordinate external partners to ensure timely delivery of components and services.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and quality standards; control costs and cash flow.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to the Country Manager and senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience on large‑scale infrastructure, preferably renewable energy (solar PV, wind) or civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract management (e.g., FIDIC) and familiarity with PM frameworks such as PMBOK or PRINCE2.
• Experience as a Cost Engineer or Quantity Surveyor; knowledge of CESSIM or similar tools is a plus.
