Reliability Engineer – Maintenance (12‑month contract)

About the role
The Maintenance Reliability Engineer will provide technical support to maintenance, operations and project teams, ensuring equipment reliability and optimal asset performance at our Cork site.
Key responsibilities
- Support equipment design, construction, commissioning and qualification activities.
- Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, equipment files and critical equipment lists.
- Optimize the preventive maintenance programme using RCM/FMECA methodologies and run condition‑monitoring programmes.
- Analyse equipment data, perform root‑cause failure analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist engineering on projects, select spare parts, and participate in multi‑functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, cGMP and site documentation standards, leading deviations and change requests.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Process Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a reliability or maintenance engineering role.
Required skills
- Reliability engineering and asset management.
- Preventive maintenance techniques (RCM, FMECA).
- Condition monitoring and equipment data analysis.
- Root‑cause failure analysis.
- Maintenance documentation and procedures.
- cGMP and EHS compliance.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.
