Remote Software Developer (AI Evaluation)

About the role

Turing is seeking a remote Software Engineering Evaluator to create and refine datasets that train large language models. You will work closely with AI researchers to curate code examples, correct implementations, and assess AI‑generated code across multiple programming languages.

Key responsibilities

• Curate and build code examples in Python, JavaScript (ReactJS), C/C++, Java, Rust, and Go for model training.
• Evaluate and improve AI‑generated code for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance AI‑driven coding solutions and benchmark against industry standards.
• Develop agents that automatically verify code quality and detect error patterns.
• Design verification mechanisms for software engineering tasks across the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong ability to communicate evaluation rationales clearly in writing and verbally.
• Experience building full‑stack, production‑grade applications.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design, debugging, and code‑review processes.
