Restaurant Manager

About the role

Gregans Castle Hotel is seeking an on‑site Restaurant Manager on a contract basis to lead its dining operations in Ballyvaughan. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the high standards of this luxury boutique hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
• Manage and develop front‑of‑house staff, including hiring, scheduling, and training.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to align food and beverage service.
• Optimize workflows and inventory processes to maximize efficiency.
• Uphold fine‑dining standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong background in customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Proven experience in hiring, team leadership, and staff development.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with guests and staff.
• Solid knowledge of food & beverage operations in a luxury setting.
• Organizational and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality is highly advantageous.
• Relevant hospitality or management qualifications are a plus.
