Sales Manager, SMB – French Market

About the role

DocuSign is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead its Small‑Medium Business (SMB) sales team focused on the French market. You will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition, upgrades and renewals while coaching a French Account Executive team to exceed revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead a French Account Executive SMB sales team, reporting to the Area Vice President, Commercial Sales.
• Develop and execute upgrade and renewal strategies, ensuring data management and reporting compliance in Salesforce.com.
• Assess sales activities and forecasts, recommend and implement improvements to meet sales goals.
• Coach salespeople on prospecting, forecasting, negotiations and vertical market management while maintaining individual accountability.
• Hire culturally aligned team members and lead by example to protect and grow the DocuSign brand.
• Participate in complex negotiations and close new business, leveraging senior sales resources as needed.
• Collaborate with each AE to create vertical‑wide business and sales plans to achieve quota.
• Ensure consistent use of sales tools, adherence to Rules of Engagement, and communication of field needs to corporate departments.
• Identify training and professional development opportunities for the team.
• Thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a sales team, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
• Strong customer focus, passion for sales excellence and ability to inspire a high‑performing team.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a hybrid work setting.
